Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her most well-known role was Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during the Preparatory stage before moving with her family to Ohio. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons working in Chicago the theatre before moving to television and film. Anna was the first to get a major role as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. Following her appearance as a Guest on several TV shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's, she was cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler is Her Breaking Bad role from 2008. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood film as well as Sully. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the podcast audio drama of four episodes Numbered days, which was made available in 2022. The love story between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the story in Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and eventually its demise similar to the arc that was Walter White's final days of life.
